1st Class Badge of the 2nd Type. Neck Badge, 86 x 58 mm., gilt Bronze, white enameled, with crossed swords between the arms, red enameled, gilt-silver centre medallion with golden, crowned lion, green enameled outer circlet with cyrillic, Bulgarian inscription “To the Valour” in gold lettering and “1915”, red enameled, reverse centre medallion with gilt Tsar’s monogram, green enameled outer circlet (minor chip) with cyrillic, Bulgarian inscription “Prince of Bulgaria” and “1879” also in gold lettering, ornated upper loop and hinged royal (princely) crown, round ring and tapering, pearled ribbon ring, with full, correct neck ribbon with ties.
A very rare badge of this high order, rewarding the valour in the field, in extremely fine condition. I- RR!
