Grand Cross Breast Star, 98.5 x 17 mm, in Silver, with curved, diamond-cut and pierced rays, the centre with a gilt silver white enameled, red-and-green-bordered cross with golden rays between the arms, white enameled centre medallion with applied image of the two saints, red and green enameled outer circlet, mirror-polished, smooth reverse with maker’s escutcheon of Vinc. Mayer’s Söhne, Vienna and two hemispherical nuts retaining the centre, the upper and lower rays, resp. struck with a “VM” and a “Diana’s head” mark, broad pin struck with two “A” marks. I R!
