Badge of the Order, 2nd Class. Neck Badge, 63 x 40 mm. gilt Silver, the obverse’s centre with blue enameled with two facing dragons and a blue-green cabochon on a beaming base, Chinese archaic inscriptions in golden calligraphy throughout, the gilt border, with stylized ornaments and raised inscriptions above and below, the reverse, similar to the obverse including the blue-green cabochon, though not enameled, upper loop as a typical Chinese ornament, roud eyelet and doubled gilt silver wire suspension ring, with the original, blue silk ribbon, its obverse richly embroidered with red and white ornaments, white embroidered borders with an elaborate, geometrical pattern.
An important, beautiful badge of this Imperial order, extremely rare for being complete with its ribbon, excellent condition.
