ORDER OF SAINT ANNA

An early Badge of the order, instituted in 1735. Breast Badge, 61 x 59 mm. in fire-gilt bronze, the arms’ obverse, set with red pastes ending with tree white pastes each, typical ornament between the ams, centered by a set, white paste each, oval centre medallion with fine image of the saint in enamel miniature; gilt reverse, with oval, enameled centre medallion with finely painted, crowned monogram, the upper arm, fitted with round, suspension loop.A beautiful, very rare decoration, dating to the end of 18th – earliest 19th Century, excellent condition and quality.
