Judge’s Badge of the Holy Inquisition

Breast Badge, 26x21 mm., white enameled, circular medallion bearing the symbols of the Cross flanked by the sword and the green enameled olive branch, the reverse, bearing the black-and-white enameled cross of the Dominican Order (some wear to the enamel); the whole enclosed in a finely chiseled frame, upper loop and round suspension ring, original, red silk ribbon.
