Grand Cross Set. Sash Badge, 79x42 mm., GOLD, white enameled with white enameled field bearing the Order’s cross with translucent-red enamel, surmounted by beaming star with the sacred heart, ornamented suspension with chiseled details and round suspension ring, with original, silk sash riband. Breast Star, 80x65 mm., with Silver, chiseled and pierced rays, white enameled centre medallion bearing the Order’s Cross in GOLD and enamels with chiseled details, within florally-decorated outer circlet, also made of gold and enamels, on top, the red enameled Sacred Heart, polished reverse, with slightly convex counter-medallion, bearing the maker’s escutcheon of Gustave Wolfers, Bruxelles, vertical pin; in the original, red morocco case of issue.
