Breast Badge, 34x25 mm., GOLD, five armed gold cross with sea-blue enameled border and ball finials to the tips, flanked by fleurs-de-lys, red enameled centre medallion bearing the golden bust of the King facing left, within beaded outer circlet, the reverse with finely chiseled and engraved details, centre medallion bearing the inscription “D.M.I.° 1829” in raised lettering on matted ground, rectangular upper loop and horizontal, golden ribbon bar. The excellent quality and execution of the piece, allows us to consider it as a high reward for special merits towards the sovereign. Excellent condition. I RR!
