Badge of the Order, 3rd Class 1st Grade. Neck Badge, 75 x 48 mm., gilt Silver, the obverse’s centre with blue enameled field and two facing dragons and a deep-sea blue cabochon on a beaming base, Chinese archaic inscriptions in golden calligraphy throughout, the gilt border, with 14 dark red cabochons and archaic inscriptions above and below, the reverse, similar to the obverse, but without enamel, and a deep-sea blue cabochon to the centre, upper loop as a typical Chinese ornament, green enameled to the obverse, round eyelet and gilt silver-wire suspension ring, with blue silk neck ribbon.
An important, beautiful badge of this Imperial order, extremely rare, excellent condition. I RR!
