4th Class Badge, 2nd type (circa 1807-1831), 40x39 mm, GOLD, the obverse, with black enameled order’s motto and also black enameled borders, centre medallion in gold with white enamelled polish eagle within green enamelled laurel wreath, the reverse with the arms engraved with “S A R P”, centre medallion in two-colour gold, with dark-blue enameled “Lithuanian Knight” above the date “1792”, the whole within green enameled laurel leaves, spherical suspension and grooved ribbon ring, with original ribbon. A superb, very rare example of this important, military order, extremely fine condition. I R!
