Sash Badge, 60 mm, in gilt Silver, French auction control mark, both sides enameled, both central medallions gilt Silver, with enameled details, original suspension loop and sash. Breast Star, 85 mm, with chiseled and pierced rays, white enameled centre medallion with « SS » monogram in Gold and red enamel, surrounded by chiseled border and white enameled border bearing golden motto "PRAEMIANDO INCTAT", within green enameled outer circlet with four chiseled Gold laurel branches, the reverse with narrow pin and two side hooks, Austrian hallmark and maker’s escutcheon of Vincenz Mayer’s Sons - Vienna. A superb set of Austrian manufacture, from the 2nd half of 19th Century. Very rare and excellently made. I RR!
