Knight’s Badge of the Order, 49x29 mm., GOLD, with white enameled, 5­-armed cross with ball­-finials, flanked by green enameled laurel and olive wreath, white enameled centre medallion on both sides, bearing the red­white enameled cross of the Order, on top, the typical, Brazilian Imperial crown, the orb, with round suspension ring, original, silk ribbon. A beautifully-­made cross from 1860 ca., in its typical, slightly reduced size, excellent condition.
