Knight’s Badge of the Order, 35x24mm., GOLD, with white enameled, 5-­armed cross with ball­-finials, flanked by green enameled laurel and olive wreath, white enameled centre medallion on both sides, bearing the red-­white enameled cross of the Order, the arms of equal size, on top, the typical, Brazilian Imperial crown, the orb, with round suspension ring, original, silk ribbon.
A beautifully­-made cross from 1860 ca., in its typical, slightly reduced size, excellent condition.
