IMPERATOR D.”, sky-blue enameled reverse centre medallion, with a cross of white enameled, tiny five-pointed stars, dark blue enameled outercirclet with golden inscription “BENEMERENTIUM PRÆMIUM” and a rosette below, the upper arm, with hinged, Brazilian Imperial crown in gold with chiseled details, “stirrup” link-ring soldered to the tapering, polished suspension ring and a length of the original, silk, sash ribbon. Breast Star, 80x65 mm, in GOLD with five, gold-bordered, white enameled arms flanked by polished, golden beams, sky-blue enameled centre medallion, with a cross of silver, tiny five-pointed stars, dark blue enameled outer circlet with golden inscription “BENEMERENTIUM PRÆMIUM” and a rosette with stylized leaves below, the upper arm with superimposed, Brazilian Imperial crown with engraved and chiseled details, the reverse, fitted with vertical pin.
