Order of the Golden Fleece

Jewelled fleece badge of the order, of “Archaic” stylized type, 39x30 mm, GOLD and Diamonds, with finely chiseled details, the horns and the “strap”, profusely set with brilliants on both sides, round loop and moulded, tapering suspension ring.
An extremely rare, beautiful badge, that can be dated to the last quarter of 18th Century, excellent manufacture and condition.
Note: the jeweled badges of the order were almost exclusively worn by royals and princes. I RR!
