1st Class Set with Diamonds, instituted in 1862. 1st Class Badge with Diamonds. Sash Badge, 80 x 61 mm., GOLD, green enameled; the enameled rays, alternated with diamond-set ones in gold, red enamelled centre medallion with Arabic inscription: "Abdulaziz Khan, Sovereign of the Ottoman State, who relies on Divine Guidance"; green enamelled reverse with centre medallion in gold depicting drums and ags, above, an oval with the date "699" (1299/1300); Crescent and Star suspension and grooved ribbon ring, short sash ribbon.
Breast Star in Silver, set with Diamonds, 83,0 mm; with 298 diamonds for a total of 12.339 ct., GOLD centre medallion, red enameled with Arabic inscription: "Abdulaziz Khan, Sovereign of the Ottoman State, who relies on Divine Guidance", green enameled outer circlet; the reverse with broad, gold pin.
An outstandingly rare set of the highest class of this order, with the most important Royal provenance, instituted at the end of 1861, awarded by the Sultan for exceptional merits towards the Turkish sovereign; extremely fine condition, together with awarding document of the "Mourrassa" (with jewels) division of this Order under the rule of Sultan Mehmet VI, to Prince Omer Faruk, son of the Calife Abdulmedjid II.
