Very Rare Chasuble

Very rare center top of chasuble like a stole, garment of the Orthodox tradition with opening collar and decorative fringes. The cotton and silk weft on a delicate embroidered bicolor floral background, is adorned in the middle with three crosses in silver thread (trinity), the entire perimeter embroidered in silk with polychrome symbolic patterns. This rare russian work from the middle of the 19th century (conservation conditions are rarely met over time) is in excellent condition considering its age, colors and texture preserved, despite minor skin scratches and other minor wear.
