Grand Cross Star, gilt Silver, a disc of slightly curved and straight beams; sky-blue enameled centre medallion with coat of arms, within black enameled outer circlet bearing the golden inscription “ORDER OF THE SUN BAHAMAS”; the top of the star, bearing the gilt, British, Queen’s crown with red enameled inner cap; smooth reverse with “frosted” finish, convex countermedallion, with engraved mark “WORTH” and silver content “925”. An extremely rare and attractive star, excellent condition and nicely toned. Dim.: 117,0 x 85,0 mm.
