Civil and Military Merit Order under the Title of St. Joseph

Prince Size Breast Star, 65x62 mm.i, Silver, the arms and the intermediate rays of chiseled and pierced silver; oval centre medallion with separately-made and applied image of the Saint on polished ground, within the outer circlet bearing the order’s motto, smooth reverse, with vertical pin.
A beautiful, very rare star, from the early 19th Century; excellent condition and beautiful, dark patina. I RR!
