Commander's Cross, GOLD, 83x52 mm, white enamel bordered cross, flanked by oval escutcheons with the arms of Portugal, within golden oak wreath tied by a ribbon below (French mark) 82,5 x ; white enameled centre medallion with applied the Order’s cross in red and white enamels, within moulded outer circlet; similar, reverse centre medallion, but its field of matted gold instead being white enameled; hinged suspension crown with enameled “jewels”, grooved ribbon ring and original, red, neck ribbon with ties. A beautiful, definitely uncommon piece, excellent condition and workmanship. I R!
