Order of St. Michael

2nd Class Badge of the Order, 82x47 mm, in GOLD, with blue enameled arms, golden, oval centre medallion bearing the image of St. Michael raising a fasces of lightnings and holding the shield, bearing the blue enameled motto “QUIS UT DEUS”, with the devil under his feet; round, reverse medallion, bearing the blue enameled motto “VIRTUTI”; upper loop, made in the form of stylized acanthus leaves, to which the royal Bavarian crown is hinged; round, upper ring and original ribbon. A beautiful, very rare badge in excellent condition, in case of issue, with gilt inscription on the lid. Very attractive! I RR!
