Sash Badge in gilt Silver with white enameled cross (thin, hairlines) flanked by green enameled rays, superimposed by a four pointed star flanked by a white enameled St. Andrew cross, charged with a shield at the colours of Katanga; rectangular upper loop with hinged, green enameled, oval laurel wreath and round suspension
ring; with original full-length sash. Breast Star made of chiseled silver and green enameled rays, superimposed by a centre, identical to the sash badge; concave reverse with “frosted” finish, broad, vertical pin and two side hooks; in the original, dark brown case of issue.
