Grand Cross star of Prince size, 79x75 mm., with brilliant-cut chiselled and pierced silver body, the centre with applied Imperial eagle on polished ground within the outer circlet with the Order’s motto in polished lettering on finely granulated ground and stylized branches, bright polished reverse, concave counter medallion with maker’s escutcheon of Chobillon, Paris; vertical, round pin and two side hooks.
A beautiful star, very rare for the size and the maker, excellent condition. I RR!
