Military Order of Christ

An early Star from the 1st decade of XIX Century. Breast Star, 75 mm., smooth, grooved silver rays, centre medallion with the red and white enameled cross of the Order in gold, within a golden, chiselled outer circlet, resting on a silver one, on top, the enameled sacred heart in gold, the reverse, fitted with vertical pin.
A very rare, early star, extremely fine condition. I RR!
