Military Order of Christ

An early 19th Century Badge of the Order. Neck Badge, 95x47 mm., gilt Silver cross, set with rose-red and white pastes, smooth reverse, hinged suspension, made as a stylized, Royal crown, also set with small, brilliant-cut, white stones; the reverse, with curved suspension ring (this, struck with a rabbit’s head mark).
A highly elegant piece, extremely fine condition. I RR!
