Breast Star of the Order, 83 mm., gilt, eight-pointed star decorated with stylized grains, white enameled centre medallion with monogram, flanked by white enameled stylized flowers, the reverse with enameled Presidential seal of the Philippines; in the original case, with maker’s mark of El Oro, Quezon City.
An exceptionally rare star of Philippine’s order awarded to female heads of state or to the wives of foreign heads of state, extremely fine condition. I RR!
The hereby offered star comes from the property of Imelda Marcos, wife of the Philippines’ dictator Ferdinando Marcos.
