The Kurdistan Medal (Kürdistan Madalyası)

GOLD medal, 27 mm., the obverse, with the Sultan’s Tughra, the reverse, with landscape of mountains, mounted in the British fashion with gilt silver bar, buckle and suspension bar to the old, ribbon.
A most rare decoration, the gold class (it existed also in silver and bronze), instituted in 1847, was awarded to Generals and higher staff officers, participating to Kurdistan Campaign, excellent condition. I RR!
