King Rama V Honour Badge

Oval portrait made in fine miniature enamel, of King Chulalongkorn in uniform, 29,5 mm., enclosed in an elaborate gilt and enameled frame, its reverse, fitted with pinback suspension, upper loop and mounted to a ladies’ bow ribbon to the colours of Rama IX Royal Cypher.
A beautiful and very rare badge, awarded to high-ranking ladies of inland and foreign nobility, as a special grace of the King, excellent quality and condition. I RR!
