Knight's Cross Military instituted in 1922. Breast Badge, 68x48 mm, Silver, as a red enameled star, enriched by a pattern of green/white enameled, stylized palms and lotus flowers; blue enameled centre with golden eagle, within white enameled outer circlet bearing a golden, Arabic inscription; red enameled reverse, also red enameled centre medallion with complex, calligraphic inscription, within white enameled outer circlet also with Arabic inscriptions; decorated upper laurel wreath tied by a riband and two crossed scimitars pointing downwards, round ring and original ribbon, in original case of issue, with fitted, inner compartment and inscription on the lid.
