A Red Cross Jetton by Carl Fabergé

Breast Badge, 27x13 mm, GOLD, of oval form, bearing an ornated, cyrillic monogram “MP” (or “ML”) and below red enameled Geneva Cross flanked by the year’s numeral “1916”, the whole surmounted by the Tsar’s crown, upper loop struck with “AK” and cyrillic mark “F” for the workshop of Carl Fabergé and small, round, suspension ring, smooth, polished reverse. A beautifully-made badge from the last period of the Russian Empire, thus extremely rare, excellent condition. I RR!
