R.” (Rothe), white enameled, centre medallion with gold inscription on bright red, translucent enamel within white enameled outer circlet with the Order’s motto in golden Cyrillic script, white reverse medallion with golden inscription within a smooth outer circlet, ornamented upper loop and hinged suspension crown, with enameled details and inner cap, broad, grooved and beaded ribbon ring and original, neck ribbon. Breast Star, 81 mm., hallmarked “AA 3 A”, maker’s mark “C. Rothe Wien”, with silver, fl uted rays, gilt silver centre with enameled details, smooth reverse, with vertical pin, in original extremely rare case of issue with maker’s mark of “Rothe Wien” and gilt weapon and inscription on the lid.
