Jewelled Grand Cross Set, of the Type awarded under the rule of Muhammad an-Nasir Bey (1906-1922). Breast Badge, 90x62,5 mm. (incl. suspension ring), as an alternately red and green enameled ten-pointed star in GOLD, flanked by Silver beams, completely set with stones of different sizes, green enameled centre medallion with the sovereign’s monogram also set with stones within an outer circlet, also set with brilliant-cut stones, hinged, upper bow enriched with stones, same as the suspension ring, with original, full-length sash. Breast Star of similar design, 87,5 mm., also profusely set with stones, also to the lance shaped rays, in place of the enamel. The reverse, fitted with vertical pin, in the original, dark blue, fitted case of issue bearing the Tunisian coat of arms embossed in Gold on the lid. A beautiful and very rare piece of the “Mourrassa” (with jewels) division of this Order, destined to most prominent personalities only, extremely fine condition. I RR!
