ORDER OF CIVIL MERIT

Grand Cross Set, instituted in 1926. Sash Badge, 70x57 mm., gilt Silver, one-side enameled, five-pointed, white and green enameled star of elaborate geometric design, with decorative designs between the star`s arms, the reverse presents the inscription in Arabic "for Honour and Dedication", original suspension ring and short sash. Breast Star, 83 mm., gilt Silver, hallmarked "925", maker's mark "Huguenin - Le Locle", the reverse, fitted with large vertical pin and two side hooks. Together with six appointment and awarding documents to the General Consul of India, dated 5th of February 1962. A beautifully-made set, in excellent condition, with a highly interesting documentation for an Indian high-official. I (7)
