Military Order of St. Ferdinand

Knight's Cross of Reduced Size, instituted in 1811. Breast Badge, 32x29 mm, GOLD, enameled, separately made and applied center medallions with fine detail, suspension with stylized palms, grooved ribbon ring, with fine, very old ribbon. An interesting piece from the time of the Carlist Wars (1830) in extremely fine condition. An identical piece which originally belonged to General Giovanni Durando (later commander of one division of the Sardinian Army in Crimea, 1855), is on display at the Historical Museum of Vicenza (Italy).
