Breast Badge, 40x 25 mm. gilt Silver, as an enameled shield at the arms of Novorossijsk in file enamelwork, within white enameled scroll bearing cyrillic inscription “ДМИТРІЙ ОМИТ РІЕВИЧЪДЕИКЕ”; on top, the Russian Imperial crown with suspension ring, below, the iron of an anchor of admiralty type, this, bearing the yellow enameled date “1891”; the reverse with a shield similar to the obverse, miniature enameled with the landscape centered by a lighthouse at sea, and the sun rising from the horizon, within gilt scroll bearing the deep-sea blue enameled inscription “ПОСТРОЙКА НОВОРОССЙСКАГО ПОРТА” (“the construction of Novorossijsk’s harbour”); the anchor’s iron, bearing the yellow enameled date “1897”; the ring, struck with partially readable maker’s mark and “84” and star silver mark.
