Used in a Russian-Japanese War of 1904, as well as serving in WWII
Blade length: 67cm
Total length of sword without scabbard: 85cm
Total length of sword with scabbard: 90cm.
The hilt is of brass lavishly adorned with cherry blossoms. The grip is of hardened leather with inlaid copper wire.
The scabbard is of steel with a steel hanging ring.
A small cherry-blossom etched button beneath the guard (loose at one end) releases the scabbard.
