Order of the Sun and the Lion

Commander's Cross, 2nd Class, Civil. Neck Badge, 93x61 mm., Silver, maker's mark "Halley - Paris", with chiseled and pierced rays, gilt and green enameled intermediate rays, centre medallion with a very fine enameled miniature, representing the couching lion and a rising sun, original green ribbon.
A very rare badge of French manufacture, dating to the 19th Century, of a beautiful workmanship, in best condition. I RR!
