Neck Badge, 86x65 mm, GOLD, red enameled, finest Guilloche work under the red translucent enamel, gilt center medallion with the Sultan's tughra within a green enameled outer circlet with applied small cartouches with mottoes in gold, mounted rays in gold, set with diamonds and brilliants, applied crescent/star within laurel wreath, red enameled, hinged crescent/star suspension, original ribbon ring and ribbon. Recipient believed to be the wife of Sir Clare Ford, when he was the British Ambassador in Constantinopole. Very rare and superb! I RR!
