Special Class, Grand Cross Set of the Order. Sash Badge 126 x 72 mm as a stylized, four-armed cross in GOLD with green enameled arms, flanked by Silver flames, centre medallion in gold, bearing three white enameled elephants, within brilliant-set outer circlet, surrounded by a sort of "star" with pink and red enameled rays, the reverse bearing red enameled monogram in Thai lettering, within brilliant set outer circlet, upper, suspension in the form of the Thai crown, the top with a symbolic depiction of the rays of the sun, protecting the kingdom, with original, full-length sash ribbon. Breast Star, 93 mm, with chiseled and pierced arms, alternated by polished, golden beams, the centre, as the badge`s obverse, the reverse, fitted with vertical pin, in the original, velvet covered case of issue, the lid with gilt Thai divinity and fitted, inner compartment. A beautifully-made set, exceptionally rare in the special class, bestowed by the King to heads of state only, excellent condition.
