Order of the Sun and the Lion

1st Class Badge of the Order, Civil Class. Sash Badge, 85x72 mm., Silver, hallmarked "FR", with chiseled and pierced rays, gilt and green enameled intermediate rays, centre medallion with a very fine enameled miniature, representing the couching lion and a rising sun, original dark green ribbon.
A very rare badge of Austrian manufacture, dating to the 19th Century, of a beautiful workmanship, in best condition. I RR!
